The air pollution control equipment operates under very controlled conditions. The Fabric Filter Temperature is the temperature of the emission gas steam as it goes from the spray dryer absorber (SDA or scrubber) to the fabric filter (baghouse). The fabric filter temperature is established during the most recent dioxin emission test and can change from time to time. This temperature can vary anywhere from 10 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit from the established level. Typically the fabric filter temperature only varies significantly when a boiler is taken off line for maintenance.
